Carleton Place Cinemas - Carleton Place Cinemas are 40% less than Ottawa prices - $4 for kids, $7 for adults. In the summer they have a matinee every day at 1pm – arrange your shoot time to go there before or after. 17 Albert St. 613-257-8715

Outdoor Swimming - There is a local beach at Riverside park in the center of Carleton Place.

Indoor Swimming – There is a 25m indoor pool close to the studio. 613-257-2005. The pool is also sometimes available for one hour rentals.

Charter a pontoon boat (5 person minimum) on Mississippi Lake – 10 minutes from the studio, Sharon will also rent you her pool, sauna, and hot tub by the hour – Call Sharon at 613-253-8978

Paint Ball – Hopperz Paintball is just one town away in Almonte.

Hiking – Mill Of Kintail has great 3-5km hikes just a few kms away.

Angel’s Roost Spa – Good, and affordable spa services. 2696 7th Line. 613-257-1977

Cycle out to Carleton Place – The TransCanada trail runs to Carleton Place from Kanata.

Geocaching – Do you own a GPS? There are several geocaches close to the studio.

Own a Kayak or canoe? There’s great kayaking in the center of Almonte, or canoe down the Mississippi in Carleton Place.

Cedar Hill Berry Farm – A bit north towards Pakenham – it’s raspberry You Pick season! 613-256-3029

Fulton's Pancake House - UNPOSED is in the heart of maple syrup country – we’ve even tapped UNPOSED trees. Even out of season you can have a maple experience, head a bit north to Fulton’s. 613-256-3867
